Scout Work Projects
Over 400 man-hours of labor were donated by the Scouts and their families!
(Does not include the assistance given by Yvonne, Tom, Howie, Cynthia, Tom, and Brandon... THANK YOU ALL!)
Special thanks to Carol Harris for her many additional hours spent maintaining the grounds since August of 2006.
In addition to the work documented below, the Girl Scouts worked on stationary and traveling sets,
helped in the costume lofts, performed in plays, and served in the dining room.

Repair and paint exterior of white cut-out sign, thin plants around it, clean west panel of lighted sign,
replace lights inside, clean tree dropping from east entry garden, clear rocks from west entry garden,
remove dead branches and vines from trees by driveway, clear sucker growth from "Back 40".

Swept parking lot; more trimming. Tom helped remove debris again, filled the holes in Sarah's and Norma's
gardens where stumps had been removed, took out poison ivy for us, and moved parking blocks into place.
